Take a Hike: PlayhouseSquare Tour
Meet at 6 PM in the State Theatre Lobby (1519 Euclid Avenue) to enjoy a
tour of the PlayhouseSquare neighborhood in Downtown Cleveland!
The Take a Hike program offers four free guided walking tours of the
Gateway District, Historic Warehouse District, PlayhouseSquare and Canal
Basin Park in the Flats. From May 22 - September 16, 2012, visitors and
local residents can enjoy four tours every week - for free! The tours last
approximately one and a half hours in length and feature actors and
actresses portraying important Clevelanders from the past. The
PlayhouseSquare tour is offered every Tuesday at 6 PM in the State Theatre
Lobby from May 22nd - September 16th.
Take a Hike is presented by Dollar Bank with the support of the Downtown
Cleveland Alliance. Take a Hike receives public support with local tax
dollars from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture to preserve and enrich our region's
artistic and cultural heritage. Other program Partners include Cleveland
Magazine, PlayhouseSquare, Historic Warehouse District and Bob Zimmer of
Keller Williams Realty.
