We are thrilled to announce the date for PechaKucha Night Volume 15!
On Friday May 11th, 2012, PechaKucha will be perched over the construction
site for the BRAND NEW Cleveland Medical Mart and Convention Center. We
will be located in the main hall of th Club at Key Center.
PechaKucha is a relatively informal event that features a succession of 10-
12 artists or designers, each explaining their work, ideas, and obsessions
around art, fashion, food, life, architecture, film, furniture, music,
community, and/or photography through a six-minute presentation (20 slides
X 20 seconds per slide). The event began in 2003 in Tokyo, Japan and has
since spread to over 400 cities worldwide.
The doors will open at 7:00pm, the bars will be staffed and music will be
filling the floor. We encourage you to come early, hang out with friends
and meet a few new people over a drink as images from past events stream
through the venue. We are particularly excited to hit the 15 event
milestone, and hope you will come out to celebrate with us!
As always, PechaKucha Night Cleveland is FREE (with a cash/credit bar of
course!). This event is completely open to the public and anyone can
attend! Presentations will begin at 8:20pm sharp!
While space is always tight, we need to issue particular caution... if you
want a seat or even just to get in depending on room capacity, you should
plan on arriving early!
