Craig Robinson July 19-21
Beginning his stand-up career while in college, Craig Robinson’s accomplishments on the stage started out big and have only gotten bigger. His extraordinary material, delivery and stage presence were noticed by the Fox Broadcasting Company at the 1998 Montreal “Just For Laughs” Festival. Fox wasted no time in giving Craig a development deal. In the same year, Craig won the Oakland Comedy Competition, a mere 2 years after winning the Miller Genuine Draft 1996 Comedy Search.
Since 1998, Craig has made television appearances on Comedy Central’s “Premium Blend,” NBC’s “Late Friday!” and “Comedy Showcase,” HBO’s “Def Comedy Jam,” VH1's “The List,” UPN’s “Vibe” (hosted by Sinbad), HBO’s “Real Time with Bill Maher,” and “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on ABC. Most recently, Craig landed a series regular role on the fX network’s “Lucky” playing Lucky’s (John Corbett) friend, “Mutha” Legendre. Since then, he has made guest appearances on Fox’s “Bernie Mac Show,” and NBC’s “Friends.” And more recently, Craig has been seen on Fox’s “Arrested Development”, and he has a reoccurring role on NBC’s new hit “The Office”.
