Tectonics is an exhibition of new work from South Carolina painter and Ohio native, Paul Yanko. Yanko creates his hard-edged, abstract paintings using an underpinning of collage from scraps of paper he has collected over the years. The process conveys time and intimacy, which drives home the collected interests and memories that are conveyed through color, texture, and composition. Paul Yanko shows extensively around the country and his work is part of public and private collections, including the Cleveland Clinic, Case Western Reserve University School of Business, and The Greenville County Museum of Art. * * * * * Proximity is located in the Loftworks building in Cleveland’s Art Quarter. Our 3rd Season will include significant works by up-and-coming and established artists working in various mediums.
