Finding the right job can be a difficult task, even under ideal conditions.
YNPN Cleveland and presenter Kim Lane are here to help you position yourself for success in a competitive nonprofit job market with Creating a Resume That Sells You: A Nonprofit Jobseeker Workshop, being held Tuesday, July 10, 5:30-7:00 pm at Magnolia Clubhouse, 11101 Magnolia Drive in University Circle.
This session will help you no matter what stage you are at in your career – a recent grad, a young professional looking to move beyond entry-level positions, or a seasoned worker looking to transition into the nonprofit world. Attendees will:
> learn resume strategies to raise themselves above the competition
> gain experience writing powerful, results-oriented phrases through peer-review feedback
> hear expert tips on cover letters, career portfolios, and other tools to highlight their talent and ambition
In her role as Director of Career Services at Notre Dame College, featured presenter Kim Lane leads the career development and job placement programs for all of Notre Dame’s on-campus and online students.
Please bring at least two copies of your current resume to self-critique throughout the workshop.
