3rd Annual Race for Maggie’s Place
Serious runners and families who love the Cleveland Zoo are both invited to lace up your sneakers and run/walk in support of pregnant women who have nowhere else to turn. The third annual Race for Maggie’s Place, presented by Spectrum Surgical Instruments, will kick off at 9:04 a.m. at the Cleveland Metroparks Zoo on Sunday, August 26. All event proceeds benefit Maggie’s Place — a nonprofit organization that provides a community of homes to pregnant women who may be alone, homeless or facing other difficult circumstances. The Race for Maggie’s Place includes a 9K running race on a Hermes-designed course inside the Zoo, a 3M walk/stroller push for families, and a FREE Kid’s Dash*. *Children may enter the Dash FREE with a paid Zoo ticket ($5)or a paid adult race registration.

8:00 a.m. Packet Pick-Up/Same-day Registration
9:04 a.m. 9K Run (Babies arrive late!)
9:20 a.m. 3M Walk/Stroller Push start
10:00 a.m. Kids' Dash (300 meters)
Refreshments, prize drawings and kids activities after the race.
Costs For 9K/3M Walk:
$20 before August 1st
$25 before August 20th
$28 before August 26th
