International Children Theater Festival:The Man Who Planted Trees

May 1, 2017 - May 3, 2017 9:45 AM to 12:00 PM

Hear the wind, feel the rain, smell the lavender and laugh with Dog in this unique blend of comedy, puppetry and storytelling. In this ecologically inspired tale, a French shepherd sets out to plant a forest and transform a barren wasteland, acorn by acorn. Their uplifting and unforgettable story shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make to the world.

Over its nine years of touring, The Man Who Planted Trees has become a favorite of audiences and presenters around the world. Based on the book by Jean Giono and returning for its first full North America tour since Fall 2012!

Running Time: 60 minutes
Recommended Grade Level: 2 and up
