Can Journal Spring Issue Launch Party!

March 3, 2017

Join the Collective Arts Network and MOCA for our Spring Issue Launch Party!

Admission to the exhibits is FREE for the night!!! If you haven't seen the new shows at MOCA, this is your chance.

There will also be live Afro Cuban music by the Neil Chastain trio, mojitos, beer, wine, and food - plus you can get your very own copy of the new CAN Journal, hot off the presses.

This issue of CAN (our largest yet!) has previews from dozens of galleries, plus Douglas Max Utter on George Mauersberger, William Busta's advice on how to be an artist, Barbara Bachtell and Donald Black Jr on individual artist grants, race, and public benefit, Brittany Mariel Hudak on the latest attack on the NEA / NEH, CAN's Speak up Guide to Arts Advocacy, Henry Adams on William Robinson, and the first in a series of stories about efforts to build the local arts economy by drawing buyers from afar--which is supported by CAN's first-ever project grant from Cuyahoga Arts and Culture.

In addition to all that, we have 15 pages of bilingual coverage of the Cleveland Foundation's Creative Fusion Cuba Cohort, which includes residency projects hosted by Collective Arts Network, Cleveland Print Room, Cleveland Urban Design Center of Kent State University, Cleveland Institute of Art, Verb Ballets, and Dance Cleveland.

So come out, have some mojitos, pick up a magazine, and look at some art. We'll see you there.
