THE GREAT WALL OF VINYL - New Cleveland Art On Vinyl Records!

April 14, 2017

Come out for April's Walkabout Tremont! Over 200 new paintings on vinyl records by local Tremont artist Garrett Weider. I'm covering their entire wall! Opening night is April 14th. Show runs till May 11th.

I've painted on pretty much everything - canvas, guitars, skateboards, snowboards, under bridges. Recently I saw friends painting on vinyl. Then I saw numerous gallery shows with art on vinyl too. The concept kept popping up so I figured, why not try it out and do my thing?!

I grabbed a few at thrift stores and raided Loop's dollar bins. Ever since making a few, the response has been awesome! A big chunk of records were bought at Loop, why not have a show there?!

Loop is a great hang out coffee shop that features new artists every month. So come out, check out a massive wall covered in vinyl art. We got a DJ too, gonna be fun.
