IN TRAINING & the HOLLOW EYES imprint are pleased to present a new series of parties for joyful self-liberation and progression toward the creative nothing:
+ Aktion I +
Featuring performances by:
I/Y (Berlin, DJ Set)
Gracing the decks for the closing slot of the evening will be the powerhouse duo I/Y. Formed by Berlin techno mavens Irakli and Yac in 2011, the two have amassed a sizable rap sheet of productions released on labels such as Dynamic Reflection, Inkblots and Arkita, as well as their own I/Y imprint and the STAUB series, which channels the energy of their notorious Berlin day-parties at ://about-blank.
E-Saggila (Toronto, Live PA)
Fresh off the release party for her new 12" on Bank Records, E-Saggila will be showcasing her productions with a live set of her trademark deep rhythms and windswept industrial ambience. In addition to her myriad side-projects that span several genres, she is also one of the curatorial and artistic directors of the Summer Isle label from Toronto, specializing in releases that range from grating industrial, decaying techno and glistening tape loop collage work.
Halfadder (Canton, Live PA)
Enigmatic producer from just south of the city, Halfadder's music caught the ear of the Hollow Eyes imprint with his signature knots of crackling rhythms and leftfield synth programming, now made real in our liminal space for your enjoyment.
Unikove (Cleveland, Live PA)
Brooding industrial dub techno workouts from the Hollow Eyes label boss. Pulsating constructions that channel the angular arrangements of decaying architecture and chain link grid.
MX SILKMAN (Cleveland, DJ Set)
Monolithic ambience, nauseous squelching synths and subterranean concrete dubs make up the selections curated by MX SILKMAN. Her sets build from hanging ambient miasma, to shuddering body music and finally the cathartic industrial thrum of machine-music.
This event will cost $8 at the door.
The aim of AUTONOMEN is to provide an environment for attendees to live unapologetically and work collectively toward liberation through collective socialization rituals. Attendees whose behavior threatens or infringes upon the ability of others to enjoy themselves by acting in an oppressive manner will be ejected.
