Under the direction of Thomas M. Foley, the Southwest Community Chorus will begin its fall season and will be celebrating its 25th Anniversary.  Rehearsals will begin on Monday, September 12, 2005 with registration at 6:30pm followed by rehearsal at 7:30pm.  Location is the United Methodist Church of Berea, 170 Seminary Street.  Rehearsals are held every Monday from 7:30pm to 9:00pm.  No auditions are required, only a love of singing diverse choral selections.  There is a nominal $25 fee to cover the cost of music.

 

In celebration of the anniversary, a special winter concert will be presented on Sunday, December 11, 2005, at 3pm in the Kulas Auditorium in Berea.  We are always looking for new members and, to make this an extra special concert, we are looking for as many past members as we can find.  If you are able to join us for this season, please plan to be at the first rehearsal on Monday, September 12th.

 

The Ohio Arts Council is helping fund this program with state tax dollars to encourage economic growth, educational excellence and cultural enrichment for all Ohioans.
