Dead Boys Interview, Concert & Book Signing

Celebrating Cleveland punk legends with an interview, performance, and book signing.

Saturday, November 4th 7p.m. (Doors open at 6:30 p.m.)

Tickets to this event are $10. Rock Hall members can purchase tickets starting at 10am on Monday, September 25. Non-members can purchase tickets starting at 10am on Tuesday, September 26. To RSVP, visit

This event begins at 7pm with an interview with Cheetah Chrome and Johnny Blitz (of the Dead Boys) and photographer Dave Treat. We’ll discuss Dave’s photographs of Stiv Bators and the Dead Boys as well as the band’s early years leading up to their debut record, Young Loud and Snotty, which will celebrate its 40th anniversary in October. Following the interview, there will be a live performance by Cheetah Chrome and Johnny Blitz. The program will conclude with a signing (books and CDs will be available for purchase).

The Rock Hall’s Library & Archives is located at 2809 Woodland Avenue in Cleveland, Ohio. The facility is at the corner of Woodland Avenue and East 30th Street, in a shared building with the Gill and Tommy LiPuma Center for Creative Arts of Tri-C. This is approximately two miles southeast of the Museum.

Free parking will be available in Lots 5 and 6 of the parking garage. Metered parking spaces are also available on the street in front of the building or around the block. Signage will be posted directing visitors to the event.
