The Art and Appreciation of Acting for Radio and Television

Are you thinking about pursuing a career in acting, radio or television? Then this class is for you! Maryann Nagel, whose voice is heard nationwide in ads for companies like Goodyear and Proctor & Gamble, will show students how to use the voice properly and demonstrate techniques for microphone usage, reading scripts "cold," acting for television and creating characters that are vocally both "real" people and characterizations. It will also cover auditioning techniques, working on versatility and terminology related to in-studio work.
