Money Matters: Finance for Women

Keep that New Year’s resolution and get a grip on your finances! On Monday, February 12, we'll kick off our Money Matters Financial Planning Series, where you'll learn strategies and tips to help you manage your financial future with confidence.

In the Finance for Women workshop, a financial advisor will show what makes financial planning different for women. You’ll learn the components of a financial strategy and how to create your own financial plan. Come learn how to turn your financial dreams into reality.

Katy Bryan is a senior associate and financial planner at Skylight Financial Group. She specializes in advising women, families with special needs, and the LGBTQ community. She also teaches personal finance at Cleveland State University. She was recognized by Crain’s Cleveland Business as a 2016 “Forty Under 40” honoree. Preterm’s 2018 Money Matters Financial Planning Series is a quarterly series that offers real-world financial tips and information. Attend the entire series, or just the workshops you find interesting. Topics will include budgeting, managing credit card debt, and the special financial concerns of women and LGBTQ individuals.
