Master Class at Nighttown: The Magic of the Muppets

April 23, 2018 19:00 to 22:00

Kermit the Frog. Miss Piggy. Cookie Monster. Bert and Ernie. We all grew up with them – and we continue to love them today.

For more than 60 years, the creations of Jim Henson continue to entertain and entrance fans of all ages. What is it about those Muppets and Monsters that have such staying power? Why does "Rainbow Connection" still bring a tear to our eyes? And what makes us respond to every "Mahna Mahna" with a “Do doo do do doo”?

On April 22 and 23, Joe Hennes, Editor-in-Chief of, the premier fan site for adult fans of Jim Henson and The Muppets, will deliver a "Master Class" on the life and legacy of visionary Jim Henson.

From Sesame Street to The Muppet Show and beyond, Master Class at Nighttown will take a deep look at what makes Jim Henson’s creations so beloved to the inner child in all of us.

Master Class at Nighttown: The Magic of the Muppets will premiere on April 22 at 2:00 pm, at a family-friendly $10 per person and repeat on April 23 at 7:00 pm, $15 per person. Both shows will be fairly similar. Tickets can be purchased online at
