Austin Walkin' Cane and Kristine Jackson

May 18, 2018 - May 19, 2018 8PM to 10:00 PM

Friday & Saturday, May 18 & 19, 2018 at 8pm
Austin Walkin' Cane & Kristine Jackson - "Blues from the Heart of the Rock & Roll City"

Cirigliano Studio Theatre of Stocker Arts Center

Back again by popular demand! Outstanding guitar, slide guitar and Dobro skills, in conjunction with powerhouse vocals and a lot of hootin’ and hollerin’, have made Austin Walkin’ Cane one of “Cleveland’s favorite frontman.” His placement during the 2009 International Blues Festival in Memphis has landed him unique invitations to perform at the Blues on Broadband Festival in the Gold Coast and the Himalayan Blues Festival in Nepal.

With an early career as a trumpet player backing up world class vocalists around the world, Kristine Jackson has since made a name for herself as not only a guitar player, but as a studio musician and songwriter as well. She has opened for the best of the best, including B.B. King, Buddy Guy, Mavis Staples, Robert Cray, and many more.

Kristine and Austin have been friends for more than 15 years, and join together on stage to share their friendship through an awesome combination of creativity, genuine felt blues, songwriting and a good ol’ time.
