Suburban Symphony Orchestra and Choral Arts Cleveland

May 16, 2018 8PM to 9:45PM

Suburban Symphony Orchestra and Choral Arts Cleveland team up to present “A Bernstein Jubilee,” and a fond farewell to our Maestro on May 16, 2018 at 8 PM in the Maltz Performing Arts Center at the Temple-Tifereth Israel, 1855 Ansel Rd, in Cleveland's University Circle. In celebration of Leonard Bernstein's 100th birthday and Martin Kessler's last concert as Music Director of both groups, the performance includes Chichester Psalms, Symphonic Dances from "West Side Story", and scenes from Candide, with soprano Marian Vogel. The concert is sponsored by the Department of Music at Case Western Reserve University and is supported in part through a grant from Cuyahoga Arts & Culture. The concert is open to the public. No tickets are required and parking is free.
