“Mirror of the Wood: A Century of the Woodcut Print in Finland” is an exhibition that evokes the aura of Finland - a place of pristine forests and lakes - which has distilled into a love of naturalness and aesthetic sophistication in the 70 prints by 39 artists that spans 100 years. The exhibition opens on November 7, 2005 at the Emily Davis Gallery at the Myers School of Art on the campus of The University of Akron.
