WHO: General public, MOCA Members, Film and Fashion enthusiasts, artists and students.
WHAT: MOCA Cleveland will be screening a portion of Hero Tomorrow, a new feature-length film based, shot and edited entirely in Northeast Ohio. The brainchild of local filmmakers Ted Sikora and Milo Miller, Hero Tomorrow is a dark comedy about a young man's comic book fantasy of becoming a super hero colliding with a young woman’s dreams of high fashion and romance. The film is currently pending acceptance from major film festivals worldwide and is scheduled to premiere in 2006.
Opening the event at 8:30pm will be a festive fashion showcase by two of the film’s Cleveland-based collaborators: Myley, flaunting their Spring 2006 Collection, and Alexandra Underhill, designer of the film’s comics-inspired costumes. Amidst the fashion show and the preview will be a short discussion among the filmmakers and their collaborators offering an in-depth understanding of how the project materialized.
