Mike Shea is the Publisher and CEO of the independent Cleveland-based new music and youth
culture magazine Alternative Press. With a circulation of over 200,000, Shea and his staff of 17
provide their readers with coverage on bands that mainstream music media leaves out. In 2004,
AP was awarded “The Best Contribution in Cleveland’s Music Scene” by SCENE Magazine. Also,
in 2002 Shea was named by The Plain Dealer as one of the 50 Most Influential People in Cleveland’s
Music History
Jason Pettigrew is Editor-In-Chief of Alternative Press and writes reviews for punk rock, rock and roll,
indie-rock, and hardcore bands. His main priority is to provide our culture with new music not covered
by the mainstream market.

Life magazine honored Bob Moore as the number one “Country Bassist” of all times in September
1994. Over 17,000 recording sessions to date, Moore has worked with some of the most influential
music artists including Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, Roy Orbison, Connie Frances and Bob Dylan.
One can hear his distinctive bass lines in “Bridge Over Troubled Water” performed by Simon and
Garfunkel and “Crazy” by Patsy Cline.
