Julia Jacquette will give her lecture Visual Artist at the Ohio Bell Auditorium at The Cleveland Institute of Art. The lecture begins at 7pm on Saturday December 3, 2005. Julia Jacquette’s recent exhibition I Dreamt at the Tang Museum, Skidmore College, Saratoga Springs, NY deals with desire, memory, longing and self-consciousness as it relates to the American dream, middle class values, and an idealized verson of sexuality and femininity. In conjunction with her lecture Jacquette will present “Wish List,” an exhition in On Site, The Cleveland Institute of Art from November 25 to December 22. The lecture is free and open to the public.
