CONTROL BUYER
AmeriMark Direct is a well established catalog, e-commerce, and print media direct marketing company. We specialize in women’s apparel, shoes, cosmetics, fragrances, jewelry, and health-related merchandise.
The Inventory Planning department is seeking an energetic Control Buyer for general merchandise. Working closely with the vendors, responsibilities will include forecasting, purchasing and re-buying, expediting backorders and inventory management. Other responsibilities include assisting in the overall production and management of the catalog and service to the organization via close communication with other Amerimark business areas, such as merchandising, accounting and the distribution center.
Position requires 2 years of corporate experience (degree preferred), proficiency in Word and Excel required, as well as strong organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with catalog areas, the direct marketing industry, as well as experience in purchasing is preferred.
