Electrical Sales Manager
Electrical Contracting company fully licensed, bonded and insured (in 68 municipalities) electrical contractor, in there 25th year, performing work in the commercial, industrial, institutional and residential electrical arenas. Seeks a Sales Manager to help with there continual and successful growth plan. This individual is expected to develop relationships at all levels with the customers including engineering, sales, contractors and top management. This individual must have Construction knowledge or Contracting background knowledge of the industry, products, technology, opportunities, problems, business drivers, and competitors involved in the industry and is expected to represent all of the Companies products and services and standards.
This sales professional will set the strategy for how we will grow our business with these accounts and will leverage internal resources with our company to pursue and capture qualified opportunities and future business. Candidates must be capable of working in a fast paced, electrical contracting environment and have some sales background. Our ultimate goal is to make clients into customers. Duties: Develop new prospects and interacts with existing customers to increase sales. Conduct on-site customer visits with new and existing customers. Forecast, prospect, and bid for new business to include customers, markets, and additional service opportunities. Maintain existing and build new customer partnerships. Conduct negotiations with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers Partner with customers, vendors, Credit, and A/R to quickly resolve customer service issues. Identify customer products needs and coordinate execution of orders. Demonstrates skill in data analysis techniques by resolving missing/incomplete information, inconsistencies/anomalies in more complex research/data. Work review typically involves periodic review of output by supervisor and/or direct "customers" of the process
