Our client is currently looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst (QA Analyst) with at least 8 years of experience for a 3 month contract opportunity (with the possibility of getting hired full time). The Quality Assurance Analyst is responsible for engineering process improvements to the current test procedures and QTP automated test process. Expected to adapt QA processes to better support Agile methods. Serve as a coach for testers on multiple teams.
The Quality Assurance Analyst will join a team that uses Agile Development methodologies including test-driven development, paired programming, continuous integration, rapid cycle testing, etc.
• Top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized phases of quality assurance and testing analysis.
• Provides technical consulting to ensure that all information systems products and services meet organization standards and end user requirements.
• Performs and leads tests on the most complex software to ensure proper operation and freedom of defects.
• Documents and works to resolve the most complex problems.
• Reports progress of quality assurance activities to senior management, and assists in the development and implementation of quality assurance programs.
• Executes test configuration management activities for the most complex work efforts.
• Serves as a technical mentor to less experienced staff.
In order to be considered for employment, the qualified candidate must meet the following criteria:
• Eight years of experience in a quality assurance and testing environment.
• Expert level knowledge of: Quicktest Pro, Test/QA, Testing in an Agile Approach and Test/QA Analysis.
