Position:   7th & 8th Grade Science Teacher

Duties:

This position is responsible for planning, developing and presenting organized learning opportunities for students in accordance with approved curriculum and State standards at the assigned grade level.  The teacher will prepare lesson plans, use data driven instruction to gauge student learning, maintain a welcoming, safe and attractive classroom environment, and establish high standards of student behavior.

Accountabilities:

Teachers will be held accountable for the student achievement and growth in their classroom, establishing relationships with both students and parents, and participating in all aspects of class and school planning.  We are seeking candidates that are reliable and punctual in reporting for scheduled work in order to provide continuity and stability in the classroom. Candidates should be self starters with effective classroom management skills, strong leadership capabilities, and a passion for education.

Certification and Experience:

All candidates must have a valid Ohio teaching license for grades 4-9 with an endorsement in Science.  Novice and experienced teachers are welcome to apply.
