CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER Cleveland, Ohio
Leading AIDS service organization in Cleveland, Ohio seeks a Chief Financial Officer to lead, manage and direct all financial functions of the organization and contribute as a member of the organization’s management team. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, with accountability to the Board of Directors, the CFO will be responsible for:
• All aspects of financial management • Staff and organizational leadership • Stakeholder leadership
Interested candidates should possess the following credentials and attributes: • Significant experience with all functions of executive financial management including: accounting and finance, financial management, general management, and treasury/fund management oversight, ideally within a nonprofit (fund accounting) setting • Demonstrated success leading an organization’s financial management through an extended growth period and/or through the implementation of highly efficient controls and processes • Demonstrated ability to interact with a variety of organizational stakeholders • Proven ability to manage personnel, budgets and interpersonal relationships • A fundamentally good ‘fit’ with the organization’s culture • Advanced emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills • Good judgment, common sense, creativity, enthusiasm, maturity, wisdom and balance • Strong mission affinity • Capacity to contribute to strengthening senior management • Capability to deal with organizational complexities
