YUMMY TO MY TUMMY!!

Kim's is a staple in Cleveland! The food is excellent and the service is great! I've been going to Kim's since 99, and there were some issues (which is normal) but I will continue to be a customer! Great Food! I like everything on the menu.

still love u Kim

I've read the reviews and I must say, it' s not pretty. But it's accurate. I have been going to Kims since 01 and the food is still great. The service has steadily declined since, and the Euclid location is no better. I will continue to patronize Kims despite the rude workers who half the time won't even take the order over the phone. Too many times have I been frustrated after I placed an order ahead of time only to find that they dont cook it until you get there. The wait is ridiculous, and yes.... after u wait some hood employee is going to take your $ without looking at you or saying thanks or attempting to acknowledge you at all. But the food...... UNBEATABLE. I will wait, and deal w poor service, as long as they keep the food as delicious as it is. Kim, good food is all your restaurant has left. I'll still come, but I'll never recommend to anyone else.

I agree with alot of the reviews. The service is slow and terrible and the cook looks tired and underpaid. Your also guarenteed a trip to the bathroom once the sauce hit your stomach. I would have to be starving with no where else to go before I think about eating Kim's.

Kim's Versus Kim's II

I liked going to Kim's wings on St. clair avenue better than the one in Euclid!! The one in Euclid kind of needs sum help...The last time I ordered their food I was appalled...the rib tips tasted like they were 2 weeks old and the fries were lukewarm...very unsatisfied!! I wanted to go back and return the food and get sumthing fresh but I travel on the bus and it was kinda cold out!! The Euclid location needs to step up their game and fast!!

Best wings in the City

Kim's wings are the best in the city, in my opinion and can only be matched by Open Pit. It pretty much comes down to personal preference and I'll give Kim's the edge. The wings are nice sized. I always get more than I order. Only once did I get the exact amount I ordered(I've never gotten less tho). I've never even had anything else on the menu cause I can't bring myself to try anything else since the wings are so perfect. And I completely agree with Valerie. I've NEVER had any problems with the customer service. Speak to workers respectively and they'll respond the same.

Great Wings, service depends!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have gone Kims for years and have seen the good, the bad and, the ugly. Sometimes the wings are great and sometimes the service is great and this is for both locations. I have also noticed, if you place a large order, they will slip in a few wings from the previous days and refry them. But overall they are good. The polish boys are fantastic. I will still support them.

BAD SERVICE, BAD FOOD, BAD EVERYTHING

I'm a person who gives people the benefit of the doubt. Even though I prefer B&M's over Kim's, sometimes I want to try different things. Every single time I go to Kim's my food is luke warm, tastes old, & down right disgusting. Being an African American, I try to support my community but this establishment needs to be shut down. When you call, they pick up & hang up if they're busy, the ladies are always rude at the counter, & the food is never good. I've given Kim's a number of times to prove me wrong at the Euclid & St.Clair location but it never fails that I'm going to be disappointed. Maybe Kim needs to pay her workers more. I don't know what could be done to better the quality & service of this establishment. It's a disgrace & an embarassment. I will never eat from there again. This last visit was the last straw

Hood Rats & Wings!

I've been going to Kim's Wings since i was in high school at Collinwood (class of '98) and the wings were 25cents plus a nickel for sauce; and back then the food was Fantastic and the service was okay. These days, the food is still Fantastic, no matter what i order BUT the service has definitely taken a huge turn for the worse. The young girls at the counter don't even know how to say "How ya Doin?" they say "What you want?" WTF? and if your expecting a please or thankyou....forget it. Me, I'm too afraid to offend any food service employees for obvious reasons, so i just tell them what i want and otherwise keep my mouth shut and my head down. Once, when i called to place an order an older woman answered the phone just saying "Yeah?" I told her what i wanted and she responded, "It'll be bout a hour" and hung up on me!! I had to call back to give her my name! Anyway bad as it sounds, its worth it cause you won't find better sauce, fish, or wings anywhere in Cleveland---but you better check your food before leave.

Great Wings !!!!! No Problems with Customer Service!!!!

I've read all of the reviews online and thus far, I can only comment about the wings. I had not been to Kim's in quite a while; however, when my mom passed in January 2010, my entire family was in agreement as to where we should purchase the wings and Kim's was the place of choice. When I arrived to pick-up the wings, perhaps, I caught them on a good day because they were very friendly. None of the ladies there; one up front and one who brought out the wings and sauce, were rude in anyway. I have gone back a few times since and still had great food and no issues with the service. My nephew grew up in Cleveland and now lives in Virginia; however, no matter how often he comes to Cleveland, the first place he has me take him is to Kim's and believe it or not, for the duration of his visit, he has me to take him back EVERYDAY!!!! While I am sure that there is some truth to reviews insisting on bad service; what I find is that most people react to way in which they are treated. It quite customary for most individuals who enter fast food restaurants to have a preconceived notion about the server and that usually translates into the person placing the order to talk at the person rather than to the person; which causes the person providing the service to react poorly in return. Clevelanders tend to be quite judgemental and have difficulty treating others as they would like to be treated and as a result, poor service prevails and customer complaints escalade. My nephew will be in town tomorrow and I already know where I will be going and know that I will receive superb food and hopefully the customer service is superb as well.

Really Kim?

I have lived here in Cleveland all my life, grew up eating at Kim's, and B&M...even tried Whitmore's a few times. But always would choose Kim's over the other two. My friends and I would frequent the one on St. Clair and honestly although the food was good the customer service was HORRIBLE! So bad that I refused to go there. One day whiles out shopping I noticed that they opened one in Euclid, I figured what the heck I'd give it a try....Surely the same trashy attitudes wouldn't be at this one too. Boy was I in for the rudest awakening, not only was the attitudes crappy the food was too. The wings were cold and full of grease. The fries were cold, and they dumped hot sauce over them. All I can say is really Kim? Oh not to mention If the young lady wasn't so busy flirting with one of the cooks she could have gotten my order right the first time. Now don't get me wrong I love seeing Black entrepreneurs doing their thing and finding success. I will totally support them, however you must be proactive when it comes to customer satisfaction, otherwise your "business" will not thrive. I would have rather spent my $10 at Subway (next door) then return to either location. At least then I know I'm eating fresh and the service is always nice.

Horrible Service and Food

I remember going to Kim's Wings on St.Clair when I was younger and how good they were. Not so much now. It's been awhile since I've been here in Cleveland. So, I decided to stop at the one in Euclid. When I walked up tp the door I encountered two people smoking. And no it wasn't cigarettes. I still went in and placed my order and who comes in? One of the people who were outside smoking. As I am placing my order I see the other person come in and pass a fvckin blunt to the girl behind the counter. WTH? I ordered my wings and when I got them home. They were old and only hot cause they put the BBQ sauce over them which they keep hot. I will not be returning. And to think I was bragging in Boot Camp over this place.

Are you kidding me

normally I never write reviews however reading the last written review, I strongly disagree. I live in Cincinnati, OH I'm in Cleveland 5 to 6 times a year. All I think about is how I can't wait to get some of those delicious Kim wings. See in Cincinnati we don't have a place to get wings like this. We have BW3 and other wing spots, but you pay .75 to .80 cents for a wing ding not the whole wing. 10 wing ding cost $7.50 to $8.00 for wing ding party wings. 95 cents for whole wings is a great deal the last time I was there I think it was less than that, like 80 cents a wing with sauce. Anyway that's one mans opinion, he's entitle that but Kim's wings are no way horrible.

Horrible Food. Worst food in Cleveland.

I have drove past this place in Euclid many times and decided to give it a try. I ordered a 1/2 slab rib dinner and 10 wings with sauce. The ribs looked weeks old. It was almost comical how bad these ribs were. I eat ribs regularly and had some bad ribs, but I will be surprised if I don't get sick. I ate 1/2 the meat on ONE rib and threw away a $9 dinner. It was like chewing fried gum. The fries in the rib dinner were cold and completely soggy from the sauce from the nasty ribs. So I tried the wings. It's Kim's Wings, you can't go wrong. It's a full wing like Hooters which is fine and are breaded, cool. The sauce was horrible. The sauce tasted like a watered down version of Sweet and Sour sauce from a cheap Chinese restaurant. I could taste the catsup. No BBQ, smoke, vinegar, brown sugar, onion, garlic flavor ANYWHERE. Not one good flavor, no richness which you find in any Kansas City or Southern styled sauce. Oh and they are .95 a wing!!! What? I threw away the food, $19 wasted. I was going to take it back, but I don't think they would change anything up. I can't stress to you how poor the food is here. Anyone that says otherwise either knows the family or likes to eat slop. The only savior here is the staff were pleasant and helpful. After that, you are on your own.

I don't understand why nothing's been done about the service at Kim's. I visited this location one time and one time only. The person taking my order was so rude, I refused to return. I agree that Kim should take heed to these complaints. I for one, won't be giving them any more of my money. Even Great Food is not worth being treated like this.

Kims Wings food is Delicious. Crispy flaky texture, drenched in tangy flavorful sauce. It is definately the best wings in Cleveland! Best when fresh. Yes, the service isn't the best, but look where it is. Off of St. Clair and E.140 something. Don't expect 5star service. The girl giving you the food is arguing with her baby daddy on her cell phone while she callin out numbers. Good food ppl but its in the middle of the hood. Shut up, place your order, and head back home Bfor it gets cold. Angela Mia Pizza has the same concept. But Kims is great... Its even open late night. But only go to the one on St. Clair. The other one can't match the taste of the original Kims.

The food at Kim's is pretty good. However, I would patronize the restaurant much more often if it had competent workers! Every time I place an order the person is acts as if I'm bothering them and they never - and I'm dead serious - can tally the total cost of my order! Kim or who ever owns the place should listen to these complaints.

Wings Good....Service Bad!

This is a carryout venue...meaning the first customer contact is either via phone or in-person. This is where Kim's could potentially lose their customers. The phone etiquette leaves much to be desired. A customer who knows their food will tolerate this. A customer referred by someone they trust and warned about the poor customer service will accept it. A customer dialing without prompting will never call again. In person is just as bad. Kim's has been in business for quite some time. Frankly it's disappointing that you find such chaos in a long standing business. Because the food is good, we continue to order. However, I wish they'd come up with a more organized carryout system and include some customer satisfaction in that system...becuase it's still one of my favorite places.
