Awesome!!
I was so bummed to read these reviews I love the cave. Everyone is so nice, I think the one bartender might even be on speed he's so hyper but definitely not rude. I read someone's post about northeastern ohio wines, it's great to go local but it's not like you were asking for a bordeaux in france!
I'm really happy it's in the neighborhood - it's a good option to break up some of the bars who focus on the college scene.

Horrible people
I went to this place with a group of friends, early in the evening, with the intention of staying and drinking for a while. We're there 30 minutes and finish our first round of drinks when the server closes us out and tells us that he has friends who want the table. We say "nope, sorry. We want more drinks adn we're not ready yet." So we pay for the round of drinks and buy another. He asks if he'll get still get a crappy tip (apparently 15% for someone who tells us that he wants us to scram isn't good enough).

Some Businesses Don't Get It
After attempting to order a wine produced in northeast Ohio, I was promptly told by the rude bartender that Ohio wines are not good enough for The Cave. I found that shocking knowing that northeast Ohio's wineries produce many award winning wines. Northeast Ohio is known for it's abundance of wineries because it's climate is perfect for wine production, especially ice wines. It doesn't make sense to me why a wine bar would not carry any local wines at all and downplay the significance of it's own region. A person that is truely interested in wines would be interested in sampling a wine from Ohio, especially if they are not from the area. I have done a considerable amount of traveling in the U.S. When I'm in a restaurant or bar in another city I find it interesting to taste a wine or a beer that is produced in that region. I wanted to do the same at The Cave. I figured they may carry at least one or two local award winning wines but this wasn't the case. I feel that the bar should take an interest in the wine's produced in it's own region as well as the rest of the world. If nothing else it would help the economy of the area, and make people from out of town take more of an interest in Ohio, even if the bar doesn't.

Off the beaten path.
Le Cave is a nice step away from the hustle and bustle of Coventry. It is hip, but still chill. They offer an excelant selection of beer, decent wine list and a full bar. The staff really knows their stuff. They also have a nice little food menu. This is a good place to go if you are looking for something different.

Swank and Local
How cool is it to walk down to the "wine cave"! The atmosphere at Le Cave suggests that one should exercise caution in choosing their apparel for the night, what with the cozy dim lighting and conmfortable lounge setting. Quite the opposite is true. I've frequented the place dressed both in my fancy black pants and shirt ensemb, as well as in comfy jeans and my Chuck Taylors. Each time I feel comfortable and welcome, due in no small part to the friendly and courteous staff behind the bar. There is a plentiful selection of non-grocery store variety wine to please any palate. Beer lovers (Me) can rejoice in the unigue and hard to find offerings here. All in all, an excellent place to start, spend, or end the night in Coventry. Be sure to try their fresh appetizers
