A great palce to relax!
Great value and atmosphere, Just about everything on the menu is great. This place is fantastic for families or for a romantic evening with that special person. Truely one of my wife and I's favorite restaurants in Cleveland and we've been to a few!

This neighborhood gathering place in Shaker Heights' cozy antiques district seems to be a carryover from a simpler time, when going out to dinner was for socializing with friends and enjoying a good meal, rather than dressing to impress and tipping the valet. On weekend evenings, the cozy dining room and bar are filled with a clientele that's closer to emptying the nest than feathering it, though faces of all ages are reflected in the mirrors lining the walls. The menu is big on standards - like steak, pork, chicken and fish, all prepared in flavorful ways - but includes some surprises, like a big mixed green salad generously garnished with plump strawberries, grapes, oranges, walnuts and two good-sized pieces of buttery Camembert, all tossed in a raspberry vinaigrette. Desserts are time-tested favorites, too: Apple crisp, topped with vanilla bean ice cream, is served in a warm crock perfect for sharing. Lunchtime offerings include sandwiches, burgers and sizable salads.
