The one thing I enjoy about this place is the dining room is an octagon shape with windows on 3 sides, and a very high ceiling . The feeling of spaciousness abounds. There is also a wrap around porch if one chooses to dine outside. Since our summers are short I love to be outside as much as possible. Food is quite good, and -reasonable-. My last visit I ordered the mong fish. I had never seen a resturant feature mong fish and since I havent made it in years, I was quite peased with my selection.

Situated at the Sweetbriar Golf Club in Avon Lake, Legacy Club - and the golf course - is open to the public. The curved dining room with spacious windows overlooks the greens and outdoor dining balcony. The signature house salad, made with fresh mesclun greens, is topped with dried cranberries and walnut brickle; sweet and sour dressing is sprinkled, not drenched. Baked to perfection, the crab-stuffed orange roughy is served with a delightful lemon-butter sauce, fluffy jasmine rice and a side of steamed vegetables. Also delicious is the lamb pastilla - tender roasted lamb, sauteed spinach, jasmine rice, diced carrots, cranberries and almonds layered and wrapped inside flaky phyllo.
