Who Knew?
Who would know that this is such a comfortable place
with really good food? Stop in and see for yourself.
It used to be a fancy pants place but now
feels like a down to earth tavern.
They have home made potato chips that are the best
I've ever tasted. Wings - very good.
Daily menu specials were nice choices although
I ordered from the main menu selections.
The wait staff is attentive and nice. Talkative
but not intrusive.
Beer price we not overpriced. OK choices
of tap beer.
Food prices were of good value for
what we got.
I would definitely go back

From the outside, Art's Pub - formerly known as Arthur's - looks like a well-kept neighborhood tavern, the kind of place you go to get a decent burger and a beer. But step through the door, into a tastefully appointed dining room, and you'll find a lot more. Art's Pub has added sandwiches and pizza to its menu to satisfy the sports crowd, but the rest remains true to the owner's original goal of providing fine, casual fare at affordable prices. Shrimp cakes, a light-as-air version of crab cakes, are prepared with chunks of chopped shrimp, fried and served with a ramekin of house-made remoulade. Barbecued ribs, touted as ""awesome"" by our friendly server, are slow-cooked in a sweet and tangy sauce until the meat falls off the bones. Dessert is vanilla ice cream covered in a Kentucky bourbon orange sauce with chopped walnuts. A word of warning: Art's Pub can be noisy when the bar is full, and a partial wall is all that separates the smoking section from the larger nonsmoking area.

CAN'T JUDGE A BOOK BY IT'S MENU
FRIDAY NIGHT SPECIALS ON FISH FRYS ARE THE BEST I'VE HAD. SATURDAY NIGHT PRIME RIB IS BETTER THAN THE OLD MOUNTAIN JACKS. PRICE RANGE VARIES FROM $9.95 FOR THE ALL U CAN EAT FISH FRY TO $23.95 FOR THE PRIME RIB. WELL WORTH THE INVESTMENTS.
