First impressions from a first visit

Had a wonderful dinner with a group of 6 a week ago as a first visit for everyone. The only "interesting" thing to note is that the Sushi chef made very sloppily prepared hand rolls (for me), and my wife's Sushi fell apart when she tried to pick it up. It didn't seem to be the "sticky rice" that is always used in preparing sushi. So the sushi seemed very amateurishly made. We also ate inside which wasn't crowded and allowed a easy conversation between everyone. On the way out we passed the patio which was hopping and loud (like all patios I would imagine). Overall we would go back again.

Best dining experience

By far the best dining experience my wife and I have ever had! We eat out all the time, local and downtown. We went to lure bistro per request of a family friend who frequents the establishment often. We sat on the very comfortable and inviting patio. The food and drinks were just outstanding! and the service just as great. We have found a new favorite restaurant and definantley will be back for more!

Tasty! Fresh! And FUN!

My Husband and i have heard alot about lure bistro from friends so we decided to try it out. We arrived on a wendsday which to our surprise is what they call "Date Night" which is a fun night for you and a loved one to celebrate. Its a special 3 course menu for 2 and priced very nice. After looking at the menu we decided there was just so much we wanted to try that we got 3 appetizers to try and 2 entrees and thn OMG dessert! We are gonna definantly come back for the date night. The service was wonderful and very informative to any questions that we had. There is half price sushi on tuesdays and they just recently started a snow crab night on thursdays. The decor inside is quaint and comfortable perfect for a casual or romantic evening. The outdoor patio is THE BEST! its very nice and has got to be the biggest i have ever seen! I want to thank my friends for telling me about lure bistro and if you havent made it there please do! it is now or favorite place to dine!!

Disappointing Dinners

Our daughter & son-in-law celebrated their recent anniversary several weeks ago at Lure Bistro & suggested that we celebrate our son-in-law's birthday there last Friday evening. My husband ordered the veal marsalla & the waiter, a very nice young man, mentioned that there was pasta. The tiny bits of veal were in the tortellacci. It was tasty, but we seniors typically avoid the "white stuff" which was all it was. . . pasta. At $21, it was overpriced. His Glenlivit on the rocks was pricey at $10. The other three of us had the Walleye. The portions were small for $20@. I actually counted 6 green beans on the plate accompanied by about 3 bites of some kind of rice. I just looked at your site & the young folks happened to celebrate their anniversary on a Wed. when Lure offers a "date night". At least with an appetizer to share & 2 salads there would be enough to eat for $50 a couple. I didn't notice the decor as my bread & butter plate was dirty as was the knife. Lure Bistro won't lure me back. When I want to enjoy "Upscale" I'll drive all of the way to Cleveland Heights & dine at Nighttown.

Come to our neighborhood favorite!

We love the Lure the food and patio are one of the best in our area. The service is good, the food is wonderful and a good value for the quality, and the atmosphere on the patio is very inviting and comfortable!

GREATEST. SUSHI. EVER.

The atmosphere, the servers, the food, the drinks everything down to the hosts and valet (which is FREE)... everything could not have possibly been any better. Servers were pleasant and highly attentive. The owner, Jaret, even came over to our table to see how everything was. Monday's wine tasting specials can not be beat. Tuesdays are half price sushi. This place can not get any better! We dine here approx. 2 to 4 times a month and have never had a single bad expierence.

Will NEVER Go Back!

Our waitress was the worste ever!!! The dinner salad had eggs in it and I am allergic. The only reason I knew was because I smelled them. It's too dark in there to see most of what you are eating. Wrote a letter to the manager and never got a response.

My college daughter lured me there to meet her for dinner a few years ago; we have been meeting there ever since! The atmosphere is great and the food delicious! I'm looking forward to going there again soon. Service is good and the Tues. sushi special is hard to resist.

I've been going to Lure for years! Their prices remain constant as well as the service (which is always great cuz the servers remember you!) Never had a bad experience there. The new patio is great as well as the eclosure over the bar which is huge! They have so many new entrees...try the Hawaiian Butter fish...AMAZING...My new favorite!!! All in all...GREAT!!!

Disappointed

Went to Lure 4-23-08...worst waitress we've experienced in a really long time (some sourpuss blonde). Wrong martini served after a 10 min. wait, got the tuna & 15 minutes into it, FINALLY got the non-busy waitress's attention (she was on her cellphone a lot) to ask where the sticky rice was & she replied, "oh yea, we're out of that" & walked away. What happened to one of my former favorites? Also--clean & deodorize the bathrooms!

Plesantly Impressed!!!!!

I have to say, I ate at the original Lure in Bratenahl Place, was okay, didnt race back. But, I had a Restuarant certificate for Giovanna's in Lakewood, but they had closed before I could use it. Lure Bistro was honoring the certificates so we took a hike from Avon to Willoughby to give them a try. Wow, was I impressed. The dining room is wild!!! Glass globes representing water bubbles hang from the ceiling . Your made to feel as though your underwater or in a fish tank without being tacky. Everything from the salads to our entrees were very good. Will definatly go back. I hear their outdoor patio is knocked out.

Looking for a great place to eat? Look no further than Lure Bistro!

MY wife and I stumbled upon the Lure Bistro about a year ago. Their incredible menu, eclectic ambiance, patient and attentive staff, and very reasonable prices have "lured" us back again and again. If you enjoy sushi, this is the place to be on Tuesdays for the all you can eat sushi for under $20! In my opinion, the sushi rivals that of the finest sushi restaurants in the Cleveland area. We really enjoy bringing friends and hearing how they are blown away by the food and the overall dining experience. This restaurant is a real treasure. Give it a try!

One of the best meals I've had ...

Great food and wonderful selection of items - all of which jump out at you as you browse the menu. Their sushi/sashimi is excellent and you MUST try the lobster/crab bisque! You might not think so when you walk in as the atmosphere is much different than you'd expect from a fine dining experience - however - the food is nothing short of fantastic!
