M Bistro reminds me of a classic old white tablecloth restaurant that never quite managed to get with the times. The service is OUTSTANDING, old-fashioned in the best way. The food, however, is just adequate. There are a few things on the menu that really are quite good, such as the blue cheese burger and truffle fries. But there are a lot of things on the menu that completely miss the target - I once had the Lobster Cobb Salad, and the lobster was so overcooked that it was barely chewable. Also, a risotto special with pancetta literally had a 1/4 an inch of grease floating at the top. It looked like an oily bacon stew. Almost inedible. If it wasn't for the service and the few decent dishes and convenice of them being close, I'd never go back. For these prices, you're much better off making the drive downtown to somewhere like Metropolian or Jac's.

Ok, so you may be overwhelmed by going into this place (and think it too 'nice') but i just experienced their 3 for $30 Prix Fixe Menu including App/Dinner/Desert and it ROCKED! I had Lamb Lollipops, Pork Tenderloin with Moroccan Rub & Creamed Corn (like no creamed corn I ever tasted!) and to top it off, S'MORES! It was so great! I understand they are changing PRIX FIXE Menu every week...can't wait to try something new next week!

I travel all over the world and I can tell you, no one works harder to pull together a better mean than what you will get here! The food is always fresh, they have the best BEST Steak Tartar; their assortment always gives mixed groups something to choose from and the place is always packed! Thank you for offering such a wonderful dining experience on the west side of cleveland!

M. Bistro is the place to be in Westlake. My husband and I have been there several times and we have always left there very satisfied. The staff is very prompt and courteous and knowledgable about the menu. Our server one night suggested the tuna tartare appetizer. My husband said it was the freshest tuna he had ever tasted. I chose the tempura shrimp appetizer. Each shrimp was nicely coated with a light batter and came with a delicous spicy sauce. We have been back several times & each meal was excellent. The fresh ingredients and expertly prepared entrees are a food lover's dream. The bar has an excellent array of wines & drinks. The patio is always packed on the weekends. A must for those with a love of food & great atmosphere.

You can get a better meal at 1/3 the price at TGI Fridays. Inferior quality at gourmet prices. The Ahi Tuna was full of gristle. The clam chowder had large lumps of flour. Everything was over-salted.

The Service is as good as you're going to get but the food is average. Example the Oriole bar and grill a dive of place make a better Ceasar Salad for $6.00 instead of $12.95... Rule #1 Ceasar must have feaking GARLIC!!!
So if you're a blue hair with no smell or taste left you'll love the place as the food is bland...

I dont care what you order the food is fantastic! From the salads to the appetizers. One of my favorite dishes is the Talapia Puntanesca (sp). My husband ordered the Scallops which they made into an entree for him. Service is top notch.

This is by far my favorite restauant! We are there, faithfully, every Saturday and a few times during the week! The atmosphere is outstanding; if you want romantic, you can get it; if you want to have a business mtg, you can't find better with their wireless connectivity (FREE) or if you are out with friends for a casual evening you can't go wrong. The bistro-faire is awesome (Steak Tartare mouthwatering!), Tempura Shrimp, Tuna Tartar with Grapefruit and Olive Oil Drizzle, Killer Pizza's, Great Steaks-Veal-Chops and The BEST PATIO TO SEE AND BE SEEN!!!!

This West Side restaurant, formerly known as the high-end Mosaica, changed its name and menu - and installed a wood-burning oven - in an effort to serve a more moderately priced meal. The lengthy list of steaks is still popular, but be sure to sample all the bistro has to offer: Wood-fired pizza, topped with shrimp, goat cheese, roasted tomato, garlic and strips of fresh basil, is especially tasty, as is the garlicky calamari served over roasted red pepper puree; as always, salads, sandwiches and pastas are delicious. The decor remains the same - an airy central atrium and its flower-filled fountain open into a series of intimate dining rooms. There's also an utterly pleasant patio for warm-weather dining.

This is by far the best dining experience in all of N.Ohio. I take all of my out of town guests and business clients here for small parties in their private dining rooms, hang out at the bar at night or definitely camp out on the patio when the weather is great! The food is to-die for and I think they do a great job trying to offer something for everyone! Dress up or casual, it's somewhere I can take the kids or celebrate an event! Great Job Guys!
