Bad Business Practice
Worst eating experience. I would give zero stars if possible. We went there for the first time for Sunday lunch on March 18th. I ordered their nachos for my meal after reading it's description of chips, olives, tomatoes, cheese, chili. My other three friends ordered burgers and of course my simple order came late after the others had already eaten about half of their meals. How is it that Nachos takes longer to prepare when it is not cooked but heated up to melt the cheese.
Anyway, I got my order and started eating. It was not long before I realized that there was no chili on it. At first I thought maybe it was on the bottom under the chips like some sort of dip. Remember, this is the only meat on the dish and probably the most expensive ingredient. So I dug down and no chili. I asked the waitress and instead of making another order correctly, went to ask her manager what to do. By now the others were done eating. She came back and said that since I started eating it the only thing they would do is heat up chili and bring me a bowl of it.
I am a firm believer that you should get what you pay for. I don't care paying as long as I know they are making what they say they will on the menu. The waitress said maybe the manager will take a couple of bucks off the bill. It was a $10 appetizer and it was about right. No, the manager would not budge. By now it was a matter of principle. The cook had not prepared it correctly, who by my fee was paid for their labor. I paid for all of the ingredients, even what was missing.
It was not the waitresses fault, a high school student. (still tipped her 20%) it's just I expected more from this cafe. Now I will never return there nor will I recommend it to anyone and will go out of my was to discourage business there.

DON'T EVER GO THERE
I went there for dinner the other night, and should have known something was wrong when you can get in there, but no place else. Everything is overly priced. My food wasn't right, tried taking it back 3x and then asked for the chef to come out, and never did. Manager didn't even do anything. THIS PLACE SUCKS! DON'T EVER GO THERE.

Wonderful Birthday Party
On March 19th our family got together for a birthday dinner for my husband. We had 30 family members there and we had great service, the best food ever and just a wonderful evening. It was his 80th birthday and one he will never forget! Many thanks for all you did for us.

Awsome Dinner
We went toMain Street for dinneron Tuesday June 29 2010. We had an awsome meal. The mussels Belgquie was great. It came over linquini and had black olives and artichokes with a nice wine sauce. My wife had the shrimp linquini. It had all the things she loves. she especially loved the alfredo sauce that came with it. I dont know who the chef is on Tuesday but all I have to say is he really knows how to make a great meal.

What restaurant did you go to?
Can't believe Ben's review. We have been there many times and never had a bad meal or bad service. This is a fun place to be on a Friday night and again the food and service is great. We have had lunch and dinner and had guests with us that also thought this was a great place to eat. WE have had the seafood, steaks and just sandwiches there and have never been disappointed. If you haven't been there, it is worth the trip.

ben, ben, ben
i've gone to the cafe many many times, and was never dissatisfied! the service staff are deffinately hotties, i agree with that. the food is excellent and all made in house, no frozen or boxed crap.they offer a wide variety of steaks, seafood, appetizers, and homemade desserts, as well as 2 full scale bars. as for the mothers day statement, they have bands play monday, thursday, friday and saturday nights, definately not for grandparents! overall, i believe mainstreet cafe is an excellent place to take any member of your family.

Sorry Ben, Better Than TGIF
Ben must have really eaten at TGIF because there is absolutely no comparison between Main Street Cafe and TGIF whether that be the menu, atmosphere or aesthetics. An enjoyable and reasonably priced dining experience. Do try!

TGI Friday but quiter
I would be just as satisfied dining at Fridays or Chilis. Menu descriptions far outweigh actual items. Boring and uncreative servings of routine Ohio Crap.
The redeaming factor is the owner is a nice guy and the staff employs some hotties.
Save thsis place for Grandma on Mother's Day.
