NOTSO ITALIANO
I grew up from a baby going to this and all the places on the hill. I went back today for lunch for the first time in about twenty years and was extremely dissapointed. Growing up in an Italian old world family myself never had Lasagna so hard with a cold center. They replaced it and allthough hot it was still hard. I'd rather eat Stoffers. I tried to tell the cashier in a way as to use corrective critism and she deffended it like it was her baby. They won't be doing well with food and attitude like I recieved today.

Bunch of Crap
This place is disgusting from the food to the service. When two couples eat out together you would think the food would come at the same time. NO! Pizza came first and after several attempts and 20 minutes we tried to flag down our server only to be meet with a hand in the air like don't bother me. Manager finally came over and told us WE were out of line! WTF? The wanted to give us our food to go we told them no, take it off the bill. They finally did but charged us for our two drinks, go figure. It wasn't just us, others around us were just as frustrated. Oh, and the pizza our friends had, was burnt. NEVER GOING BACK! Don't know what people see in this place.

MAMA SANTA'S = THE BEST PIZZA EVER!!!!!
I've been to Mama Santa's about five times in my life. I was glad I went each time. The service was great. The pizza was one-of-a-kind delicious. Mama Santa's makes me feel like I'm at home. The pizza is always perfectly made.

Miss Mama Santa living in Central Florida
We used to live in Shaker Hts and went to Little Italy every friday for dinner. Mama Santa was one of the restuarants we patronize. My husband and I miss the food and ambiance. My daughter took her husband (an italian decendent from Long Island NY) he loved it. Keep it up. We'll visit soon.

Been there done that
I grew up in little italy and lived two doors down. I recently returned after ten years on the west side of town. It used to beto be cheap. I loved the grease at the bottom of the box. Like an authenic Philly and swiss in a brown paper bag. The flavor is still the same but order extra sauce and cheese. It will cost more but its worth it

BELLA RISTORANTE
We've been going to Momma Santa's for over 20 years and they haven't lost a beat. Great pasta and meatballs to die for. Our favorite is the pizza, order double cheese, sausage, and well done. You won't find anything better. For me, this beat's Lombardi's in NYC. Worth the trip for any part of Ohio.

Mama Santa's should be in the hall of fame; it rocks
Anyone looking for the pretense of a "gourmet" establishment will be sorely disappointed. But, if you want excellent Italian food at a great price, Mama Santa's can't be beat. The pizza is outstanding if you want a traditional crust and toppings. We also tried the homemade ravioli which was tender and delicious. The sauce was a little thin but had a great flavor. There were 5 people in our group and our food did not arrive at the same time.
If little things make you uptight, e.g., tired decor, food arriving at different stages, etc., then this is not the place for you. If you want great, basic Italian food at a low price, then I recommend Mama Santa's.

The atmospher, is dark and dingy.

Tasty!
I went with my family to Little Italy and had a great time. The atmosphere is magical. This was my first time at Mama Santa's and had a great time. The restaurant recreates and brings back a feeling of an Italian restaurant back in the time of the mobsters. It was truly magical. It was cool. The food tastes very authentic and deliciously so. I would recommend Mama Santa's to anyone and everyone. It will definitely be getting my family's business again.

MAMA MIA!!!!
This was our first time eating at Mama Santo's - WOW! It was fantastic! Our waitress, appetizer & entrees were excellent! We actually had a small
pizza as our appetizer and it was delicious! Authentic, quaint Italian eatery...will definitely be back!

Overated!!!!!!!!!!
I really did not think the pizza was that great. Bland tasting sauce. Everybody hypes this place up, and I really don't feel it's that great. Very long wait for our food, and it wasn't the cleanest place either. I have had better pizza at Antonio's at Parma Town.

AWFULL FOOD AND SERVICE!!!
Table for 5 sat right away. Three ordered pasta and order came right away. You would think all orders come at once. Pasta dinners done still no pizza. After four questions about pizza and drinks ice tea was brought and waitress realized there was no pizza. She then ordered the pizza it came. All dinners tasted like a chain restaurant. Totally not what was expected of Little Italy. My family is from Calabria and I am no stranger to Italian cooking.

Little Italy's Finest
My godfather opened this place over 50 years ago. It was called "Joes'.
He brought Mama Santa over from Italy and did most of the cooking for Joe. He was very good too! During the Feast...slices of pizza and sausage just flew out the door. They were displayed in the long gone front window.
Last visited 8 or 9 years ago. They treated me like an old relative once I told them about Joe Puleo.

Mama San-Knock You Out
Although we've never visited Mama Santa's, it's AWESOME!!!! ZOMG! The pizza was amazing, and the service was the best in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and America, and the world, and the universe. Even God said so, I swear to God. And so did the cross-eyed manager who crook-charges for baby cow meals. We recommend this place to anyone who has ever tasted McDonald's (especially in Italy!!!) you will love it so much I know for a fact!!!!

The Real Deal
After being a Geraci"fan for 30yrs and rarely went to MS-the tide has changed.I get the same all the time-pepperoni/sausage and extra well done.It comes out looking perfect and tasting as good as it looks.Only pizza places better in the country are Lombardis of NY,Grimaldi's of NY and Giordano's of Chicago.

Best pizza in Cleveland
I eat at Mama Santa's quite often. I've had many things on the menu and never been diappointed. But the pizza is my favorite. The crust is a thin crust that is really yummy. The sauce has a slight roasted taste and is full of different spices, but not over powering. The italian sausage is excellent too and there is plenty on it. The thing I like is that the pizza is not greesy like so many places. As close to perfect as pizza can get.

Cross-eyed Crook with Fake Italian cuisine
I have been to many fabulous Italian restaurants, especially being a native New Yorker, and this one is BY FAR A FAKE!!!!
Not only does the staff have a zero on the knowledge of Italian food scale, but after I was unfortunate enough to eat the food, I got a big sendoff with an extra $6.00 crook-charge on the bill. According to the cross-eyed crook manager, if you order a veal dinner with pasta it's $11.50; HOWEVER if you order pasta with veal will be charged as TWO dinners or $17.00.
When questioned, he said I had a bad attitude. They are crooks!! & The food is fake, NOT authentic Italian cuisine.

Best Cheap Pizza in Cleveland!!
We always get their pizza and are never disappointed. Thin crust, with great sauce and just right amount of cheese. I've never had under-done crust - maybe other reviewer went on a bad day or something...?
The atmosphere is comfortable - like my old italian grandma's basement rec-room. Service is quick and a bit abrupt (not super-friendly, but not bad). Don't bother with the olive appetizer (a few canned black olives), or the salad (iceburg with so-so dressing). Everything else is EXCELLENT and CHEAP!

Awful Crust
We ordered their Pizza, after eyeing a few tables ,the pizza was picture perfect!!!!, Looks can be deceiving, When the table next to ours picked up a slice and looked under it, the dough looked under cooked, the pie just flopped. Sadly when our pizza arrived it was the same as the next tables. Good toppings ,but the crust is soft like wonder bread. Left the pizza for the trash.

Just ok
We picked up a pizza to go today and it was a disappointment. We've eaten at Mama Santa's a number of times and have had good meals. This pizza had very little flavor. We were really surprised. My son commented on the number of pizzas they were making...maybe they were too busy...???

This comforting neighborhood standby is a haven for college students, hospital staff, concertgoers and gallery visitors. Stepping into the dimly lit dining rooms is like leaving the 21st century behind; you'll hear strains of Sinatra or Dino over the hum of conversation and the din of the busy kitchen. Don't leave without trying the pizza: thin, crispy crust topped by tangy tomato sauce, cheese and your choice of toppings. A traditional selection of pasta dishes, sausage and peppers, antipasto and house salads is also available, along with house wines and a brief beer list.
