nauti mermaid March 05, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        Good food in a relaxed autmosphere. Went to Cleveland for a concert and stopped in Nauti Mermaid for a bite to eat. The menu was very original, food was good quality. It was a Sunday evening and not crowded at all. Good service, good food, fair prices. The crab cakes were small, but good. Seafood cob salad had quality shrimp and tuna. Chicken quesidallas with chorizo and black beans - all good. Entrees looked like good portions and good quality food. I would go back for sure. LET IT SNOW!! January 27, 2007 Food Service Atmosphere Cleanliness Overall        The nauti mermaid is a pretty cool place, when you consider all the gay ass shit that is around it. The food is good, some of the bartenders are cool. Others think they are the shit. I would like going to this place more often if I knew that one of the owners wasn't such a cokehead. June 03, 2005        The Nauti Mermaid, one of the latest restaurants to open in downtown Cleveland's Warehouse District, is a welcome addition to a neighborhood dominated by fine dining. Owned by the proprietors of nearby Mercury Lounge, the Nauti Mermaid showcases the seafood-centric menu of Executive Chef Brad Mitchell. There are some real standouts here, including crab cakes, spicy fish tacos, grilled salmon gyros and a soft-shell crab po' boy sandwich with homemade remoulade. Grilled salmon, mahi mahi and grouper are served with your choice of garnish, such as pineapple-mint salsa or port wine-cranberry almond butter, while those who have more landlocked tastes have great options in the rib-eye steak, barbecued chicken or turkey club (prepared with shaved turkey, smoked Gouda, crisp apple bacon and pecan mayonnaise).
