My Favorite Restaurant!
This is my favorite place to have a nice dinner. I make my boyfriend bring me here for my birthday and Valentine's Day, and any other time I can convince him. It is a nice place with great food that is a little pricey, but not nearly as pricey as any steakhouse downtown. Their wine selection is great. The bread that comes out first is very very good. I LOVE the tomato mozzerella salad. The steak is always very tasty. The tips dinner with vegetables is a great choice if you aren't up for a whole steak. The atmosphere is best described as cozy and romantic...the lights are low and there are candles on the tables. The booths are cozy. The bar area always seems very lively on weekend nights. Definitely worth trying out.

Located in the center of Brecksville, just off Route 82, this upscale eatery has sent steak and chop aficionados over the moon with its simply prepared dishes and high-quality ingredients. Owned by Dan Campbell, who also operates Austin's Smokin' Steakhouse in Mayfield Heights, Austin's Wood Fire Grille and its talented kitchen staff craft its dishes by cooking over mesquite- and hickory-fueled fires; the unique taste leaves food with an unmasked flavor, so good it's almost a travesty to cover it up with one of the restaurant's rich sauces. Try the Maytag filet, which tops beef tenderloin with Maytag blue cheese served with a tender twice-baked potato and crisp asparagus topped with bearnaise sauce. Austin's dining room fills up quickly, even on weeknights, but thankfully the elongated bar, lit in soft amber, provides an inviting place to dine as well as a bird's-eye view into the kitchen.
