Reviews of Bahama Breeze

When you can't get the time away to go island-hopping in the Caribbean, you can certainly find the flavor of paradise in nearby Orange Village. Bahama Breeze offers casual diners a festive atmosphere that's perfect for outings with family and friends, along with a menu that's as full of choices as the islands are of sand and sunshine. ""Plentiful portions"" is a phrase heard often around here, but half-portions are offered for those with lighter appetites (or wallets). After kicking back with one of the many frozen concoctions from the bar, share a towering stack of coconut-breaded island onion rings; they never seem to end, no matter how many are dipped in the accompanying chili-horseradish and citrus-mustard sauces. Still, don't leave without trying the spicy Jamaican grilled chicken breast, served with cinnamon yam mash, roasted squash and Cuban black beans.

Applebee's after a Bottle of Rum
I wasn't impressed. I might have went too far after the hype set in. The atmosphere was strange, the menu was skimpy, and the service was less than acceptable. Just a bar...with a theme. Another owner it could have been sports, or chinese, or, I don't know. Just a poor attempt at Carribean cuisine with the American twist.
