Reviews of Noble House

This beautifully appointed Hudson restaurant is awash in pale colors, which lend a soothing effect. A single flower adorns each table; in similar fashion, the food is presented simply yet artfully. Billed as Continental Chinese cuisine, the fare ranges from a scallion pie appetizer (pan-fried layered dough with scallions and sesame seeds) and a perfectly balanced hot-and-sour soup to such well-executed entrees as Beijing noodles (traditional meat sauce, served with scrambled egg and threaded cucumbers on fresh noodles), orange beef, chicken in black pepper sauce and Eggplant Yu Hsiang (baby eggplant stir-fried with minced pork in garlic sauce). There's a small bar, and Noble House offers takeout and delivery.
