no kids makes it a quiet pleasure
My mom and I really enjoy lunch here because it is not a "kid" hangout. Very quiet, business atmosphere with nice service. There are not any children running around among the tables. It's a great adult getaway.

cant wait to go back!
We were blown away by the service, the quality of food, as well as presentation. They got it right, from apps to dessert, (creme brulee) Mentor and all of Lake County should support this Independent GEM!!
we will be back

east sides best
We thoroughly enjoyed dining at Noosa bistro. Food was fantastic, service very good, but not overbearing, something about it has a kind of family feel, perhaps its the friendly bar crowd who frequents the place. Martinis very generous pours for the price!

east side favorite
My friend had just emailed me a raving review from the News Herald about Noosa Bistro in Mentor, we decided to check it out....
We had dinner recently with another couple and found this to be lively, but with a casual ambience. We arrived at Happy Hour to sample a few martini's that we have heard about: WE agreed the tirmaisu and pomegranate were the best. The men in our group stuck with the Grey Goose with blue cheese olives. The martini list itself is extensive, like 8-10 pages long. We were seated for dinner by the efficiently pleasant hostess, and were told our server Tom would be with us momentrily. He was personable and professional, told us about specials and seemed quite knowledgable re: wines, we decided on Cakebread chardonnay, was very nice. The food was fantastic, my boyfriend had the lamb rack, said its best he ever had, I had chilean seabass, the flavors were out of this world, our friends enjoyed the soy ginger glazed salmon, and almond crusted halibut. Both said they were blown away by both the presentation and taste of their dinners. We shared mussells and calamari to start, and all had the house salad, which is to die for. We all passed on desserts just because we had no room left ( even the guys). The portion are generous, the prices we found to be moderate and a good value for what you get. We made reservations as we left for the following Friday. We're hooked.

we love it
We love this place! Since "discovering" it about 18 months ago,(we're new to the area),Noosa has become our favorite dining destination. We really enjoy the nice ambience, which frankly we didnt expect from the outside you wouldnt think it would be as nice as it is inside, the waitstaff are friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu ingredients and wine list, as are the bartenders. The food has always been outstanding, I often will order the special of the day, as these are phenomenal, the chefs are very creative, but may favorite is the SeaBass. 5 stars!!

Our Fave!!
We enjoyed yet another of many fine dining experiences at Noosa. We went with friends and had a wonderful time perusing the extensive, I mean EXTENSIVE martini list! (Ended up ordering nice bottle of Lucente)The servers were frienldly and knowledgeable. The food, as usual was fantastic! Its like going to the nice restaurants downtown, but with out the drive. We started with the ginger crusted calamari which was crispy, light and tasty, plenty to go around. My fave is the almond crusted halibut, the soy salmon is apparently the best seller, my friend raved on about it. The boys ordered rack of lamb and the filet, both were very pleased with their dinners. we finished with unusual dessert selection, off the martini list: a pineapple upside down martini, and a snickers martini, awesome ending!
we really love this place!

Not worth it
This restaurant is not worth the price - especially in Mentor. I order the sashimi grade seared tuna. These were pretty good, but for the price and location it was a bit much. The service was incredibly slow. I don't mind slow service on a busy Friday or Saturday night - I expect it - but this was a Friday late evening with less than 50% occupency. There are four star restaurants in Cleveland that offer the same pricing and much better quality and service.

Noosa Bistro
This restaraunt is one of our favorites in the area. The food is always consistently delicious and priced right for the quality and quantity you get. The service is always terrific and attentive without being nagging. We find the restaraunt always quite relaxing and not noisy even on the weekends or when the bar is full in the evening hours.

When warm weather comes calling, you can sit on the patio at Noosa Bistro and, while you won't quite be fooled into thinking you're vacationing in the Australian resort town for which Noosa is named, you might forget you're in Mentor - at least for a moment. The good-sized menu has a Mediterranean vibe and includes a fair number of starters and salads. Appropriately enough, the mean of the menu is focused on beef and fish, with a few variations, like lamb and duck, tossed in for good measure: The pan-roasted duck, cooked to tender perfection, is elegantly prepared with a sweet and peppery blend of spices. Noosa's full bar also offers a comprehensive wine list and a list of specialty martinis.
