Viva Nuevo Acapulco!!
My wife and I visited North Olmsted's Viva Acapulco for lunch. We were delighted with the service, the atmosphere and the food. I suspect we'll be even more pleased on our next visit, because we're planning to indulge in a full meal. This time we shared two appetizers: the chicken taquitos ($8.95) consisting of a crispy tortilla, Monterey Jack cheese, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole and the quesadillas ($8.20) with baby shrimp (an extra $2.00). The service, the prices and the food were all excellent. We coveted the full meals being delivered to our fellow diners. They consisted of generous portions and presented very nicely. The atmosphere is warm and festive.

Amazingly great tasting food!
I will not go anywhere else for Mexican food, EVER! Their food tastes great and there is no need to go anywhere else. You will just be setting yourself up for dissappointment. I always order a mixture of burritos and enchiladas. The portions are huge and a great value with very decent prices.

Won't go anywhere else!
The best and I mean best Mexican restaurant ever! It is the only Mexican place I dine at. First off, chips and salsa are excellent. It's the kind you try to duplicate at home because it's so good. The wait staff never lets the bowls get empty, they refill them very quickly. The portions are so big that you can never eat all of it. You get to have the left overs for lunch the next day, yum! My favorite is, el tacos con pollo; I get it every time! The meals are made with very fresh ingredients, and that's one thing I love about it. The prices are so reasonable. The average meal cost about $10-$12.00 (I think). The staff is so nice and friendly. The only thing I don't like is that the woman's bathroom is small and shabby, but yeah, who cares! There is a Nuevo Acapulco in Berea too but they just recently changed the name, and I can't remember what it's called. It's on Front street. I like that restaurant because I have never had to wait to be seated (the one on Lorain can be crazy busy on a weekend). I don't think as many people know about the one in Berea. I believe it's the only Mexican restaurant on Front street, just in case you are looking for it. Anyways, go to Nuevo Acapulco, you will not be disappointed!!!

Best Mexican Food - anywhere
I've lived all over the country - east coast, west coast, midwest - SoCal, NorCal. This is this best Mexican gets. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant (don't let the adjacent hotel fool you..), authentic food, couteous and gracious owners and staff, generous portions, etc. When I think about some the best Mexican I've ever had, my brain goes immediately to Cleveland, not Cali> You won't be disappointed.

Our favorit restaunt, both for lunch and dinner! We have never been disappointed. We take our son who lives in San Diego, Ca. when he is in town and even he is impressed with the food, he knows good Mexican food.

Best Mexican Restaurant in Ohio!
Yes, that is my opinion. In the past 10 years I have tried just about everything on the menu, and it is all superb. Service is always excellent, they owners/staff remember your name. Bartenders make a good strong Margarita. Me and the girls make it a monthly ladies night dinner as well as going for family dinners. Love Love Love Nuevo. My favorite is the Camarones Mojo De Ajo!

Bueno every time
We go here quite a bit. I like the green salsa. It's hotter. Regular salsa is tasty. Guacamole is PRIMO!!
For a great meal at a low price...this is the place. Don't let the adjacent Day's Inn fool you. This place is as authentic as you can get in Cleveland. (Think Luchita's 20 years ago).

Service and change of recipes have turned this diamond to a dud.
We used to love going to Nuevo until recently. It tastes like they have changed their recipe for their chicken and beef. Which is a shame because it was perfect before. It almost tastes like they have added curry to it. The service has also been extremely slow the last three times we have gone. After the third time, we have decided not to go there anymore. It used to be worth the long drive, but not anymore. They also tend to bring out the appetizers and the main course at the same time. I also believe that they may have a one drink maximum. We had to catch the waitress for the table beside ours to try to get a refill on pop!

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo anytime at the festive Nuevo Acapulco, a popular eatery serving authentic south-of-the-border cuisine. The heat is on with the salsa and chips - the restaurant's signature blend of fresh cilantro, green onions and tomato packs a real kick. Douse the fire with an icy, fruited margarita. A large selection of appetizers, entrees and combos are interspersed with vegetarian and seafood dishes. Try the delicious steak al chipotle, marinated beef strips sauteed in a chipotle cream sauce, or tangy pollo a la crema, chicken breast with fresh, plump mushrooms in a Parmesan cheese sauce (both entrees are house specials). Served with rice, refried beans and tortillas, the portions are hearty enough for any gringo.
