Great Food
I was shocked at the prices at first, but after tasting great food like that, it was worth it. Service was great. Beer prices were not bad, mixed drinks were a little high priced. Atmosphere was also good. Will go back again

Can't Please Everybody!
My family and I eat out a lot, and I have been to Country Clubs, and Top Notch Restaurants, and found that the sevice at Triv's is very good, and the food is excellent. The owner Mike is very helpful and professional, when there is a problem. He knowns how to handle it.I would tell all my friends to go there.

Kitchen nightmares !
Poor quality and high prices are the rule here, the place looks nice but the food is sub-par. I had a strip steak which was over cooked and dry,and contained more fat than meat. My mashed potatoes were cold and watery, the wedge salad was brownish colored and soggy. My wifes salmon was a strange grey color and was cold and soggy, her sweet potatoes were runny and had a rancid taste. The service is a pain as you are rushed to get out, the bread is orlandos which is reheated and served with a strange butter type spread. The deserts are small and over priced, nothing is made in house. Trivs is a place to avoid unless everything else is closed.

Rude And Very Mcdonaldslike Food Stay Home !!!!
I have been there twice and the service has been terrible and the food much below the norm. I am shocked that they can charge 5 star prices for 1 star food and service. The first time we went There were 6 in our party, the server didn't get the order right for 4 guests in our party. The rudeness is completely intolerable by the owner. He has no clue what customer service is, very unprofessional and a confrontational amateur.

So-So
As usual, another kitchen that not only fails to prepare a Steak well done if you ask, but send it rare. This place was really good before Triv took it over. It's too bad. Trive was very nice about the food and took it off the menu. The problem with this place is that it is trying to be something it's not. You can spend just as much at The Blue Point downtown and get incredible food. As long as the owner walks around in Jeans and overcharges for food, they will always be a disapointment. It sucks becuase we need better restaraunts on the west side.

Very Good!
My husband and I went to Triv's for a drink and an appetizer, but when we arrived the place was packed. We were getting ready to leave to go elsewhere when the owner noticed, asked us to wait a moment and immediately pulled a table over, found 2 vacant chairs and seated us. We have always found the restaurant to have top quality food and drink, the staff friendly and efficient, and the decor classy and sophisticated.
We have returned many times since then. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Spare yourself the hassle
There were 6 in our party, the server didn't get the order right for one guest in our party, and when asked how the salmon was coming along, she stated that it was never ordered. The rudeness is completely intolerable by these amateurs; the biggest of all was the owner. He has no clue what customer service is, very unprofessional and a confrontational amateur. I wouldn't recommend this place to my enemies; hopefully it shuts down soon, and is replaced by a real restaurant.

Bimbos
I was here for a business gathering ....and our group left us a limit to continue and the "waitresses" whom were told that we were paid for let our benifactor leave with the gift card which was not honored....I spoke with the owner "triv jr." and he cared less of our beneficators intent as we sat there and she purchased the card for us...oh well, typical Strongsville

Stick to ribs and wings: bar food
My wife and I tried the steak and chicken, chicken was water logged and steak undercooked and tasted like the old Ponderosa steaks eek. The salad was just silly pitiful just plain did not pop. I think the chef is better suited to casual food, the fancy menu labeling for our chicken and steak did not live up to it's name.
The restaurant looks nice and modern and is clean and appealing.
The servers were attentive and pleasant.
I think they are stretching their talents and it should be what it should be: a sports bar/restaurant.

Not Mortons, Red, or Hyde Park
I could make this same steak at home. Very average, the spinach was horrible. too sweet, potatoes average, nothing I could not make in 2 minutes at home. The service was above average. Probably will not try this place again.

I WILL BE BACK!
I went to Triv's with some friends before the Indians game. As soon as we entered the faces were friendly, the drinks refreshing, the service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. I had a Martini and a Wedge Salad. The salad couldn't have been any better. It was topped with red onion rings, real bacon bits, and homemade bleu chees dressing. We were made to feel welcome by the owner, our server, and the rest of the staff.

Can't wait to go again!
Four of us went to Trivs before the Tribe game on a Saturday night and we'll go again, soon!
We were greated warmly at the door and seated at a comforable table and greated again, this time by the owner.
Service was quick and friendly. I ordered crab cakes and a drink. The crab cakes were full of crab, not full of breading. They were very good and served with a spicy sauce that was outstanding.
The atmosphere was fun, not too loud and we were not rushed through our meal.
We'll visit Triv's again soon!

another one bites the dust
First time there & the last time- service was inexperienced coupled with attitude, but that became trivial once we met "Triv" - we were a party of 4- one ordered a chicken dish & was totally satisfied, 2 ordered steaks that had to be sent back due to undercooking & the 4th asked for the short ribs- & short they were- in quanity( he got one) and flavor. Triv had many excuses to offer putting blame on everyone but himself- this place won't make it to Christmas if he doesn't change- maybe Chef Ramsey should pay a visit

Triv is the man
The main reason I come to Trivs again and again is because the owner's seemingly perpetual presence, attentiveness, and dedication to the place that I have not seen in any other restaurant. If you have a problem with the food, call on Triv - he will take care of it; if you can't get the table you like, ask Triv for it and he will do everything in his power to make you feel welcomed. The live entertainment is unparalleled for the area and Triv's is overall a very enjoyable place to be on a Saturday night.

Oh Darn!
We really wanted to like this place, nice atmosphere, very clean, nicely decorated, but we were disappointed. Service was rough, they forgot the appetizers, our salads and entrees came out at the same time and we were rushed through dinner by the server. The martini was horrible-- all vermouth and not chilled. The steaks were over cooked. High notes, the shrimp was excellent-- very good gulf shrimp -- and the espresso sauce steak glaze was very interesting. We really wanted to like this place, so we may give it another chance in a few months.

The Borders plaza and much of Strongsville grew up around Palmer's, which has held court in its strip-mall location for nearly three decades. New owner Adam Godec spent nearly half of last year gutting and renovating the space, and his efforts have yielded a snazzy bar area, and a smart and sunny yellow dining room. Comparable effort also went into the menu. Anything grilled here will be a hit: A flavorful rib-eye comes enhanced by a dry spice rub and garlic-laced chef's butter, served sizzling on a cast-iron plate. And, while seared and well-seasoned beef makes up the backbone of the menu, don't neglect to inquire about fish and seafood specials, such as grilled scallops with jasmine rice and chipotle cream sauce, and pepper-crusted rare tuna with vegetables and soba noodles in a honey-soy sauce. Another solid plus here is the impeccably polished and professional service; this is casual fine dining done right in a southwestern suburb.
