I WILL BE BACK!
I went to Triv's with some friends before the Indians game. As soon as we entered the faces were friendly, the drinks refreshing, the service was outstanding, and the food was fantastic. I had a Martini and a Wedge Salad. The salad couldn't have been any better. It was topped with red onion rings, real bacon bits, and homemade bleu chees dressing. We were made to feel welcome by the owner, our server, and the rest of the staff.

Can't wait to go again!
Four of us went to Trivs before the Tribe game on a Saturday night and we'll go again, soon!
We were greated warmly at the door and seated at a comforable table and greated again, this time by the owner.
Service was quick and friendly. I ordered crab cakes and a drink. The crab cakes were full of crab, not full of breading. They were very good and served with a spicy sauce that was outstanding.
The atmosphere was fun, not too loud and we were not rushed through our meal.
We'll visit Triv's again soon!

another one bites the dust
First time there & the last time- service was inexperienced coupled with attitude, but that became trivial once we met "Triv" - we were a party of 4- one ordered a chicken dish & was totally satisfied, 2 ordered steaks that had to be sent back due to undercooking & the 4th asked for the short ribs- & short they were- in quanity( he got one) and flavor. Triv had many excuses to offer putting blame on everyone but himself- this place won't make it to Christmas if he doesn't change- maybe Chef Ramsey should pay a visit

Triv is the man
The main reason I come to Trivs again and again is because the owner's seemingly perpetual presence, attentiveness, and dedication to the place that I have not seen in any other restaurant. If you have a problem with the food, call on Triv - he will take care of it; if you can't get the table you like, ask Triv for it and he will do everything in his power to make you feel welcomed. The live entertainment is unparalleled for the area and Triv's is overall a very enjoyable place to be on a Saturday night.

Oh Darn!
We really wanted to like this place, nice atmosphere, very clean, nicely decorated, but we were disappointed. Service was rough, they forgot the appetizers, our salads and entrees came out at the same time and we were rushed through dinner by the server. The martini was horrible-- all vermouth and not chilled. The steaks were over cooked. High notes, the shrimp was excellent-- very good gulf shrimp -- and the espresso sauce steak glaze was very interesting. We really wanted to like this place, so we may give it another chance in a few months.

The Borders plaza and much of Strongsville grew up around Palmer's, which has held court in its strip-mall location for nearly three decades. New owner Adam Godec spent nearly half of last year gutting and renovating the space, and his efforts have yielded a snazzy bar area, and a smart and sunny yellow dining room. Comparable effort also went into the menu. Anything grilled here will be a hit: A flavorful rib-eye comes enhanced by a dry spice rub and garlic-laced chef's butter, served sizzling on a cast-iron plate. And, while seared and well-seasoned beef makes up the backbone of the menu, don't neglect to inquire about fish and seafood specials, such as grilled scallops with jasmine rice and chipotle cream sauce, and pepper-crusted rare tuna with vegetables and soba noodles in a honey-soy sauce. Another solid plus here is the impeccably polished and professional service; this is casual fine dining done right in a southwestern suburb.
