Best Chinese Food on the Eastside!!!
I stopped in to simply get pork fried rice and it was so good I had to go back! The rice was around 7$ which is a fair price for the enormous portion that they served, I had it for 3 meals! They are a classy place with quick and informed servers, they make it easy for those of us not well versed in chinese food lingo to order exactly what we want. I liked how personable the staff was when I sat and ate at the bar, this is truly a great restaurant and I'm shocked that there are not more people in there although happy to keep this amazing restaurant all to myself!

Local Gem of Shaker Heights
Creative menu with items like Crusted Pork with Hoisin Barbecue sauce, Wok seared Salmon in Black Bean Sauce. Service was friendly and attentive. The prices of dinner is no more than $15.00. Lunches are even more reseanable with prices between $6.00-$8.00. Great value. Surprisingly varied wine list for a Chinese restaurant. They even bottle their Sauces like Sweet and Sour, Szechuan, Kung Pao sauce and Shanghai sauce. Absolutely the best Chinese and Asian restaurant Cleveland has to offer.

Best Chinese restaurant in Cleveland
Pearl is truly a hidden gem in Shaker Heights. The decor is peaceful, service efficient and friendly, food....wow! So few restaurants have consistant quality these days that it is refreshing to have one that is consistantly excellent. The dinner specials are creative and well prepared. I have tried almost everything on their menu and I have a few favorites to recommend - Seafood Vermicelli Hot Pot, Crusted Pork in Hoisin BBQ Sauce, Smoke Duck with Three Mushrooms and Crunchy Beef. If you want to impress someone, call and order the Peking Duck 24 hours in advance. It is better than the ones I had in Peking.

This Is No Take Out "Joint"
One taste of the Honey-Almond chicken...let alone the cozy atmosphere, fantastic service, delicious menu, exquisite oriental presentations, and I guarantee you will have no further questions as to where to take friends and family whrn they are in town. And I will mention, the restaurant is not as pricey as the actual food deserves. Just a great place to dine.
