I was really impressed with my experience at the Peking House. This restaurant is under new management as of about a year ago, and they now offer Thai food in addition to Chinese. We ordered one Chinese dish, Hunan Beef, and one Thai dish, Chili Garlic Chicken. Both were excellent. The beef dish was made with good quality meat, which was tender and flavorful. The usual veggies were present -- snow peas, carrots, green peppers, mushrooms and water chestnuts -- and the brown sauce, which was great, could be tailored for spiciness. The chicken dish was very spicy (we ordered it that way) and had pineapple and tomatoes in a sweet and spicy chili sauce. For dessert, we had green tea ice cream which is made on the premises and was super creamy with very subtle tea flavor. The service was very good: our server recommended things for us and was very attentive.
