A Hidden Treasure
I was 34 years old when I first was introduced to Pipers. That was 20 years ago. Back then I lived in Broadview Hts., and was able to frequent alot more than I do now. I was never disappointed with anything I ordered.
I traveled alot with my job back then and frequented other restaurants that were noted as "5 star".
What I liked about Pipers was the fact that I hadn't been there for 2 months, but, when I walked in the door, they knew where I prefered to sit, and they remembered what drink I ordered the last time I was there. Those "5 star" restaurants did'nt...and I had been back to them the same number of times with the same waitresses.
So there was no doubt in my mind, as Mother of the Bride, where to book my daughter's wedding reception on 9/12/09. The night of the wedding I had so many people come up to me with compliments, and as Mom of Bride, you know, no one is going to insult you to your face..they are going to say it was perfect. The next day the proof came out in the pudding....I got more phone calls from people I never expected to hear from, but I did. So, the voting poll for this place said don't be biased and give it all 5"s.....but I am sorry...it deserves all 5's......

Actually Fun....
I met some of our mother's friends there for an "auntie" dinner with my friends...food was ok...it was like walking into 1978. Drinks were good and we actually had a blast in the bar, they have really good entertainment and the maitre de was very old school but super nice.
