I have never had better wings in my life! I went to Pizzazz thinking I was going to have the world's greatest pizza (which they do have), but my friend ordered wings and they were AMAZING. The staff there is so friendly and attentive. It's a great place to take your family, go on a date, lunch with your friends, or watch the OSU game on the big screens. Best restaurant in Cleveland!

Although it began as a royal treat - served to Queen Margherita, for whom the original Italian pie is named - pizza has generally devolved into the bland 30-minutes-or-less food of the masses. It's comforting, then, to know that Pizzazz Ristorante & Pizzeria in University Heights is giving pizza and its fans some well-deserved respect. Rich toppings include roasted garlic, smoked Gouda, portabella mushrooms, spinach and artichoke hearts; if build-your-own isn't your style, go with one of the signature pizzas, such as El Diablo (extra sausage, jalapeûo peppers, and provolone and Asiago cheeses), Mediterranean (Sicilian-style with roma tomatoes, kalamata olives, fresh basil and goat cheese) or BBQ chicken (warm chunks of chicken with bacon, provolone and smoked Gouda). While the pies are decidedly gourmet, the atmosphere is far from stuffy; families, young couples on dates and sweatshirt-clad college kids from nearby John Carroll University fill the tables (the latter are especially drawn to the restaurant's bar, located across from the main dining area).
