Gracious service and glorious food - that's what you get at Gusto! Ristorante Italiano. Owned and operated by the charming father-son team of Rick and Fabio Salerno, the restaurant has been serving authentic regional Italian dishes with a romantic flourish since it opened in November 2003. Specialties include veal - grilled, pounded, or stuffed in tortellini, and served with fresh peas, Parmigiano and a prosciutto cream sauce. The kitchen, under Chef Michael Annandono, turns out dishes that diners seldom find elsewhere, such as pappardelle with wild boar sauce. The front of the house is the domain of the Salernos, who graciously attend to their guests. And, if you're lucky, you might get to hear the accordion stylings of Rick Salerno, a former music teacher who specializes in classical Neapolitan numbers.
