Check out their website for the latest menu offerings and band schedule: www.rickscafeandcatering.com The barbequed chicken is top notch and their fries are addicting! The grilled shrimp skewer appetizer came with fried plantains and a spicy jalepeno mayo dipping sauce-yum! And the live music was a lot of fun. There is a tiny dance floor-in fact the whole place is rather small, but it makes for an intimate setting and you feel like you're at a party. Rick's just had a little face-lift. They've added numerous flat screen TVs to show the game to every part of the room. Parking can be tricky-but hey, it's Chagrin Falls! Gte over it! The wait staff maneuvers artfully thru the crowd with plates piled high. My friend had a HUGE salad. Half the folks at our table took home leftovers. You'll have a great time. Smoking is unfortunately allowed-but some folks are kind enough to do it outside. Some nights are smokier than others. Here's lookin' at you!

Overhead at an adjacent table at Rick's: ""Oh, these soups are unbelievable!"" and ""I've never had a bad meal here."" You can believe the truth of those statements. The food, as turned out by Chef Sherrie Pallotta and staff, is creative and delicious. It includes such appetizers as focaccia pizza topped with sauteed rock shrimp, grilled portabella mushrooms, fresh sliced avocado and melted ""cave-aged"" GruyÅre cheese, as well as grilled skewered shrimp with jalapeûo pesto mayonnaise. Specials range from a grilled mahi filet (topped with Asian garlic pepper aòoli and served with steamed fresh asparagus spears and sauteed ginger scallion risotto cake) to a vegetarian stew (with cannellini, grilled eggplant and spinach, topped with a crusty polenta wedge and shaved slices of Asiago cheese). Always available are the gourmet hamburgers, including a plantain and jack cheeseburger, served with Rick's ""famous fries."" A shrimp BLT on a kaiser roll with Key lime mayonnaise, and roasted pork tenderloin with hoisin-orange-ginger-garlic glaze and wasabi mashed potatoes, are other distinctive dishes.
