30 minutes and no food
tried to eat at rubins this evening. it was early evening and the restaurant maybe 1/3 full. it took me 5 minutes to be seated (I was the only one in line). It took another 10 minutes to order my coke and my dinner. 15 minutes later I still had no food - no silverware - just an empty glass of pop which I offered to pay for before I left - 30 minutes and NO food. (just think, the soup portion of the meal was probably made this morning)

Rubin's is booming
I ordered crapes and i haven't had crapes that good in forever. The service was really nice the young lady filled my cup when ever she saw that i was low.the place was clean and to my liking. I would love to work in a place so friendly and clean to see people like me who like good food and service. I also left them a big tip!! Me and my family enjoy them so much we eat there often especially on holidays!

Pierogies with breakfast??!?
My son always eats the pancake breakfast with a side order of pierogies, I love the patty melts with fries. I wouldn't recommend the steak and eggs because the meat is some weird pseudo-steak, but any other breakfast combo is very good and served fast. Service is always great, even when they're busy. I enjoy the food and the prices are good. You can order just about anything on the menu and get a solid, filling meal. The desserts are too pricey for me, but the selection is huge.

Check out the fish tank
We always laugh when we go in because of the big fish in the tank. There's lunch. I really like the place. A large menu and most of the prices are low 6-8 range. It's like a mom and pop place where you get soup and salad with dinner. I love the desserts also. The servers are very friendly. Open 24 hr. We go to a lot of these kinds of restaurants and this one is the best of the bunch. Kind of nice on the inside. Not a 4 star but your not paying for one either.

Good, but only in business because of servers!
The food here is descent, some prices are kind of ridiculous and continue to drastically change. I mean c'mon, its a diner, not a four-star restaurant. Many people including myself really only go there because of the servers. They are all so nice, professional, and really seem like they think of you as family; there not your typical "Hi how can I help you?!" robotic servers. But if anything, I would have recommended they're new 20-piece shrimp dinner. Its awesome, but the price was $7.99 and since it was popular they raised it to $12.99! hmm, no wonder why that parking lot is always empty! Summer's restaurant is excellent. Mix Summer's business & Menu with the Rubin's Waitresses, then that would be one hell of a perfect restaurant!
