Best in Tremont!
Simply put, I love Tremont. Sometimes it's easy to get lost in the Shadow of Lolita and Farenheit. Sage manages to find it's was into the spotlight and amaze everyone that walks through the door. The waitstaff is spot on. They capture the essence of fine dining while leaving the stuffy atmosphere behind. Their knowledge of the amazing wine list (try the Sinsky Pinot Noir) guarantees a perfect match every time. If you are lucky enough to stop in while the ribeye en croute is on the menu you better get it! This is the only dish that I won't share with my husband- he can get his own! Start with a charcuetrie platter, piles of cheese, homemade sausage, and olives. Pefect. For dessert the Pinapple upside cake is better than you will ever imagine it could be.
I know that this review sounds like I own the place or work there- I swear I am just a happy guest!

At Sage, the tiny foyer opens into comfortable bar and dining areas. Similarly, the menu, which is not large, offers diners plenty of flavors among its selections. Interesting appetizers include the charcuterie plate, with handmade sausages and terrines, fruits and cheeses; and the ""lamb n' puddin',"" a grilled lamb noisette with savory wild mushroom bread pudding and cardamom-berry chutney. Entrees include the simply named meat and potatoes (pan-seared Angus rib-eye with golden croque and horseradish pan sauce) and the cleverly monikered drunken tuna, served with scallion popcorn rice, bok choy and a blood-orange ponzu. A bounty of seafood - scallops, salmon, trout and grouper - rounds out the menu, along with pork and poultry. Desserts vary, but recently included a pretty slice of chocolate layer cake served with Woo City gelato. Specialty cocktails are available at the full bar.

Love on a plate
Wow, my wife and I enjoyed the best three course meal since staying in a spa in California. The food is fresh and loving prepared with great attention. I enjoyed the seared tuna for my entree, and the goat cheese salad was delightful.
